About Rachel

Rachel Gorman is a mom of two boys — a rising fifth grader at Deephaven and a sophomore at Minnetonka High School. As an active participant in community volunteer work, she dedicates her time to the Deephaven PTA. Rachel has successfully led the school supply program and is involved in fundraising for the silent auction for the parent party, fostering connections among families and directly benefiting our school. Her commitment to giving back extends well beyond Deephaven; she has also supported the Minnetonka Foundation and led the silent auction for the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Golf Tournament. Rachel doesn't just talk about community — she shows up and gets results.

Believing that being approachable and friendly is essential for her role on the Deephaven City Council. Rachel ensures that everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions on how to keep Deephaven special.

With 25 years of experience in the title and escrow industry, Rachel brings a keen eye for detail and a practical approach to every task. She is married to Chris, her husband of 22 years, who serves as treasurer for the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association and works as a forensic accountant. Rachel loves engaging with neighbors, walking her two English cream retrievers, and spending sunny days boating on Lake Minnetonka. She treasures everything about calling this community home.
